Vice President 2024
This three-year leadership commitment to the Board progresses to President 2025, and Past President 2026. You will:
- Work with an experienced Board in meeting the advocacy, educational, and professional promotion needs of Manitoba laboratory technologists and laboratory assistants.
- Meet, share ideas, and learn from your colleagues across the province and across the country.
- Attend LabCon and other exciting CSMLS opportunities in your Presidential year.
- Expand your horizons, develop and improve your networking, interpersonal, and communication skills, and open up a whole new world of laboratory opportunities.
Treasurer 2024
This is a two-year commitment to the Board. As the Treasurer, you will:
- Work with an experienced Board to conduct the financial affairs of the Association.
- Serve as a signing officer of the Association and a member of the Finance Committee.
- Assist in the preparation of a budget and coordinate with the auditors on financial reports.
- Expand your horizons, develop and improve your financial, interpersonal, and communication skills, and open up a whole new world of laboratory opportunities.

Professional Development Director 2024
This is a two-year commitment to the Board. As the Director of Professional Development, you will:
- Work with an experienced Board to help with developing and maintaining CE opportunities for Manitoba laboratory technologists and laboratory assistants.
- Develop and post relevant information that pertains to Continuing Education opportunities on the MAMLS website.
- Maintain, select, and administer the Hilda Fleming Fund award.
- Accept JM Scott submissions and present a recommendation to the Board of Directors.
- Expand your horizons, develop and improve your networking, interpersonal, and communication skills, and open up a whole new world of laboratory opportunities.

The deadline for submission is September 5, 2023 or until positions are filled. Please send an email to president.mamls@gmail.com attention Chair of the Nominations Committee to submit a nomination. Nominations should include a brief curriculum vitae. Should there be more than one nomination for a position, the successful candidate will be decided by an email vote.
